U17 Keeper Adam Mcweeney on trial at Stoke City. Having been at the academy for just two months, U17’s Keeper Adam Mcweeney is on trial at premiership side Stoke City having after impressing academy goal keeping Coach Osaio Marrah during training and recent matches. It’s a great achievement for Adam in the short time he’s been at the academy. Yep. Maybe Mark doesn't want to admit we're looking at new keepers. Jokeeee!

I refuse to believe that's his name. He's the new Terry Henfleet. ;D

I havent seen the Bermudan lad but Ive seen just about every other nationality trialist over the last few years whilst David was the only keeper from u14s onwards. Ive seen trialist keepers who have been cleared off only to sign for bigger clubs and thereby get England caps who were a joke. The best one I have seen was an Austrian lad who was down here recently. Penkhull; do you think Im hoping I might get the spot? ;D I think Tone is covering the job by signing a 26 year old kiddie for when Tommy goes anyhow so they are probably wasting their time.

Is that the Montenegrin fella we've been linked with today?

So we've had Bermudan, Swedish, Belgium, Austrian, Montenegrin, Indonesia.
Spreading out a little!

Just the match highlights from the 2-2 draw.
Alabi got 2, and we should of had a pen, and their pen shouldn't of been!

The one the season before when we were 2 up is a different matter. The 2..2 was the game where the commentators had the audacity not to give your mate Flo Stoke man of the match. ;D

I know! The cheek! He had Pogba in his back pocket all day! Greak FK by him for the goal, and then his FK that him someones hand in the wall, no peno. And on the conceded peno, I think Roberts-Nurse got the ball, but after he got the player, hard to call. That celebration by Alabi still baffles me, does he work for Britannia or something? ;D

Academy players with talent and desire will go on in the game. Unfortunately, Stoke's Academy doesn't work despite Peter Coates' best endeavours, as Tony Pulis won't play youngsters preferring foreign imports, proven fact!

Mark, i'll be there, and I used to be a decent keeper for my Sunday team, I'll bring my gloves. Went to the ground today, spoke to Bossman, he's confident.

They are using the Bermudan lad tomorrow which sees out David's suspension thankfully.
Probably be down there as he is having a session to get in shape for a couple of reserve games next week.

Isn't it the last game anyway?
And will the reserve games be a mix of fringe first teamers and U21's?

Isn't it the last game anyway? And will the reserve games be a mix of fringe first teamers and U21's? It is the last game and I wasn't talking about Stoke reserve games. When did we start having reserve team games for fringe first team and u21 players anyway. Have you forgotten we are Stoke?

We lost 2-1 I think (maybe wrong as we turned up 5/10 minutes late).
Who were our centre halves? They both were massive and neither could jump or head a ball and both were run ragged all game. Decentish distribution though.
The new 'keeper did well I thought. Made a great penalty save and looked pretty decent. A bit nervy early on but he grew in confidence.
Andy Hall scored for us, decent finish from him. Both of their goals were by their number 7 I think who was their best player. And both we deflections leaving the 'keeper with no chance.
And who was the number 17 we bought on? Looked bloody rapid.

Was 2-1.
Andy Hall's goal was quality.
Think 17 was Sam Whitehurst. Nearly saved us at the end.
Number 7 for them was ace, both wings coming in, great goal.
Agree on the keeper, shouldnt of been a peno though, great save.
Bermudan Keeper (Dale) Roberts-Nurse Big Black center back Big Black center back Andy Hall
Tunji Jordan Richardson Flo Lucas Dawson Allen Bossman
Alabi.

It was Musungu on the left wasn't it? I was impressed with the introduction of a long thrower too! The 'keeper looked good, never the reported 6ft 6" though! EDIT-Mark-has Dave got a new job as groundsman?

Yeah it was Musunga ;D
Yeah, Richardson was the long thrower I think.
And yeaah, never 6ft 6, defo over 6ft though.
Also, I saw that. ;D He came past and I thought, "what the fuck, is that Parton?" They've offered him a contract after all, grass cutter. ;D"

Also, that Sulejvic(sp?) played again for his team, they won 6-1. So I guessed he must of scored playing up top.
Also Bayern, the two center backs are from South London. Don't know what clubs though. :/
