Cheers Mark!

Bayern
Pretty sure it was Mears
The goal all came about though from Tunny stealing the ball from Cort, Higgy had looked to play in Tuncay by chipping the ball over the defence but didnt get enough on it so went to Cort feet, Tuncay was behind him so popped around to the front nicked it off his feet, knocked it across to the right to Liam

Cheers! I wasn't sure and thought it would have been amusing to see Cort done in the air by Tunny! Good to hear he is showing some hunger.

Two quality goals and Bego wasn't far off from saving that Alexander pen too. Alexander is almost unstoppable from the spot.

It will be interesting to see whether Tone rewards pre-season's two best performers with a more important role in the team. It would be a nonsense if he didn't - but then we've been here before!

Both were good goals - Tunny worked his nads off yesterday and he and Lawrence seem to work well together. I had a really good view of Tonges goal - it was a great strike.

Tonge actually strikes the ball much better than Whelan. Just before his goal he had a strike from further out which just went outside the far post.
I thought Tonge was poor when he came on and played on the right wing - but as soon as he switched to the left he looked much better. He's right footed and seems to like to cut in onto his right foot.
Tuncs goal was excellent. He stole the ball on the left, put a cross over to Liam. Liam had work to do and eventually crossed to the back post with his left (wrong) foot and Tuncs was there to head it in.
I actually enjoyed the second half after a dire first half. I thought Pugh made a big difference to the central midfield and Whitehead played better when Pugh came on.

What a cross from Lawrence, and what a goal from Tonge. Cracking strike. pulis wunna like that, WHY ARE YOU STRIKING FROM THAT DISTANCE ;d ;d In the dressing room after the game; TP: Nice goal Michael, but why did you shoot from that range? Tonge: Sorry boss, i was trying to hoof it but no-one attempted to get it, and it just went in. TP: Who did you try and hoof it to? Tonge: Tuncay boss. TP: I see Tonge: Honestly boss, i tried to lump it up the field to him but he didnt go for it. TP: Right, i'll be having words with that Turk, go tell Mama the good news lad. Tonge: What good news? TP: That he's back in the first team for another year. Tonge: Oh.
