we'd sell loads more cus of the feel good factor, and fans fickleness means we'd want to come and see better teams and players every week. so i think we'd go up to about 19,000 in just season tickets, plus the other few thousand who would come every week.
i think we'd come close to filling the brit

Arguably the club would need your support more, in terms of selling season tickets, if we didn't go up. So shouldn't the question be, if we failed to go up would you buy a season ticket?

I'll still be buying mine either way. If we don't go up then I reckon about 8,000 like we have for the past few seasons. If we do go up then I reckon about 15,000 season ticket holders. We are still not the best paid area and an awful lot of supporters will not be able to afford a season ticket and with the increased prices for entry they will be foregoing a lot of other pleasures just to be able to afford to buy the ticket on a weekly basis.

Potters i agree with what you say. But due to health i tend to miss a few games so they arn't cost affective i would buy one if promoted to guarantee a seat. If not promoted i wouldn't need to.

My guess is we would sell 17.000-18.000 depending on the cost etc. So You think we'd sell 10,000 more season tickets? I can't see that personally but a lot of people have mentioned that same figure so maybe I'm being pessimistic.

You might save overall with a season ticket but you've still got to get the wedge to pay out in the first place. These people that can't afford that wedge will have to pick which matches they can afford to go to on a weekly basis. Some families where there are Adult and maybe two or three kids as well it is a mighty wedge.

Believe it or not, but I have a bit of inside information about this one.
The club are budgeting on 10-13000 season tickets being sold if we get too the promised land. When I was told this I choked, I said that that would be well wide of the mark, and I would expect 20000+ to be sold. But they said because of the area and jobs etc, that 13000 would be tops!!!

My guess of 17-18.000 is based on 3 things. (1) fans jumping on the band wagon.(2)fans who want to guarantee there seats. (3)fans not wanting the problems of getting there tkts midweek or cuing on a Saturday.

I have a ticket dilemma
Living in London and having 2 young kids I only get to a handful of games each season - usually the away games in or near London plus a couple of home games.
Obviously it doesn't make sense to spend money on a season ticket, but I'm worried that next season (WHEN not IF we get promoted!) the higher demand will make it difficult for me to get tickets for most games - especially the likes of London teams Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham etc.
Anyone else in the same boat? Anyone ever shared a season ticket with one or two others? Is that workable? Do you think the club will introduce one of those match selection membership thingies?
