Maybe Diao would be best used to do scouting in Africa.

I rate Dave Kemp. I know we had plans for Diao behind the scenes but surely he wouldnt go straight to assistant manager role?

Raymond Domenech would be a perfect assistant for Pulis, they both have a habit of falling out with star strikers!

Doesn't really matter who we appoint, the assistant manager will merely reinforce the manager's rigid methods...

Getting Kemp in maybe a blessing in disguise. We may appoint someone who knows something about South American football to scout there. Then again we may just leave it!

There must have been a reason why Kemp left.
And there must have been a reason why we didn't ultimately get Ellis back last summer.
So it does point at a new man.
I really don't know whether Megson would have any interest in a No.2 role, however temporary.
And I don't think a temporary role is the way to go anyway when you need some stability there.
In short, I haven't got a clue....

Pulis will be looking at Megson but he will also be having one eye on offering Scholes or giggs a chance to take a player/coach role!

Based on everything we know of Pulis, I think the chances of us seeing an inexperienced No.2 appointed are nil.
You'd think he'd go old-school and English, but they're a dying breed.
So who knows?
