Depends what you want from your strikers. His goal tally is shite, but then we have scored 40-odd goals from other parts of the team so this hasn't been an issue. We are still one of the top scorers in the division.
His all-round play gives our style an outlet, it's not pretty, not great football, but hey, I really couldn't give a flying fuck if it gets us out of this shite division.
People knock the lad, but he's in on merit in front of Pericard, Parkin, Rooney, etc, we shouldn't be looking at individuals shortcomings, but what the team's achieving. The Hull game sticks in my memory as one of the most painful examples of how poor we are when he's not there. Watford away not much better.
One we're in the Prem we can afford to look at these type of players and make decisions based upon whether they are good enough or not, for now, this is the team that will get us promotion, and like it or not Sidibe has been integral to our success.
