He will be welcomed back, and i hope he is far more forthcoming. I have already asked him about LEDLEY. Bid in 3 million, i await confirmation. I always thought that if your contract is up and you're under 24 it goes to tribunal. Is that wrong then? I always thought the Bosman ruling meant players under 23 would still demand a fee when out of contract. Give me a sec i'll check...

Correct but of course a fee can be agreed to avoid it. Thats what we are trying to do. But surely he will be a free agent and can go to any club of his choice that wants him with the fee being set by tribunal? He is hardly a free agent if we can outbid other teams. ??? Did you see this question JSS? I'm confused .... again. ;D

Tony Scholes aint that daft ;D No doubt Momo would argue otherwise. ;D I'm sure you're right but i just don't understand the logistics of it. Ledley runs out his contract so he can take his pick and then is forced to go to Stoke because we bid more than other clubs? It just doesn't make sense to me. If a tribunal values his development by Cardiff at say 2 million and we bid 3 then i'd imagine all it would do is make Cardiff "try" to persuade him to come our way?

Ledley is over the threshold for compensation and so under the Bosman ruling, Cardiff have absolutely no say in his future when his contract expires.

I'd be surprised if a tribunal would value him that highly myself. Time will tell i suppose.

Do we have a chance with O'Hara or Pennant?
And is there any news on a new striker that can score goals?

No doubt it's being under 23 before a certain date. I'm pretty sure i've heard that they would be entitled to compensation. I have been wrong before though .... i think it was 1994.

There will be at least six new players coming to the club Dave, can you name the positions ? That does not give anything away, if we have 6 main targets / positions, what are they ? eg 2 strikers 1 RM 1 CM 1 RB 1 LB ?

What positions?
Full-back? Centre-midfield? Right wing? 2 strikers?
Is there any interest in Petrov at Man City who looks likely to be a Bosman?
