Sign of the times - a punter is supposed to be lucky that he didn't get banned from all football grounds for 3 years for, er...throwing a pie. And he is instead being very fortunate to have instead received a £265 fine.
They'll make shouting too loud in football grounds an arrestable offence soon...

I must admit that the last pie I had at Stoke was as hard as a porn stars todger. It must have been stuck under that heat lamp for a fortnight.

bloody hell, i remember the game against luton at kenilworth road a few seasons back when we won 3-2, i threw half of my pie into the goalmouth when we scored.
it was there for the rest of the match, and i remember pointing it out when it was on itv's 'the championship' on the sunday.
i shall of course deny all knowledge of this, if i receive a visit from plod, and i will claim that someone has hacked into my account and written this ;D

The Fans Forum have picked up this case. They are furious that the pie was not hot enough to cause 3rd degree burns. After 10 years campaigning on the pie issue, the FF chief was heard to say 'what's the fucking point?'. 25000 Stoke fans concurred.
