TP is at his absolute peak as a manager, he won't manage a bigger club than Stoke. When he finally leaves, he'll either step down a level, manage Wales, or retire.
Of course you could argue that those three options amount to the same thing...

Did you here TP's comments after the match, about how Zola needs backing from his Chairman (bit of a slap), how that's practically the most important thing to being a manager, and how his Chairman is "brilliant"?...Never happen. End of story.

There is no way the Villa and Everton fans would tolerate TP's brand of football - the Mama role, the Cage and all it entails. More fool them, but that's the reality. I think that's a pretty fair comment ... indeed it's pretty unlikely that a scenario could develop (for all the reasons that have been mentioned) where we would lose TP to any other club in the Prem.

Cannot imagine Pulis ever leaving Stoke, unless he retires.
He has everything he needs at the club, why would he wanna go and work for the Porno boys?.

Like many (most?) on this thread i don't think there is any risk that Pulis will be poached by any other club for as long as his close relationship with Coates remains.
However, lets turn the question on its head - if Pulis did leave us in the near future (illness, run over by a bus, retirement - take your pick) how high profile a manager would we be able to attract to the club? I don't think any potential manager would be too concerned by our style of play, as they would be able to change that in time, but would our reputation as an "unfashionable" club put off many of the better candidates.
We'd be able to get a Dowie, of course, but how much better than him could we do?

Whilst I agree with all the posts on this thread that Pullis would not leave Stoke for West Ham, I can also see why they would want him. Having friends that are both Dull and Wet Sham fans, and trying to place myself in their shoes, I can see no better chance of avoiding relegation than having TP to save the day. He manages egos well, despite the Tuncay/ Beattie issues. In fact I would actually say that they are good examples of where he has managed the so called "big stars". Even with 6 games to go, I would put my house on TP grinding out sufficient points to keep either side up. Who would you appoint ahead of TP to the Wet Sham job, with the sole aim of keepint them up? But to cut to the chase, TP isn't daft, he won't go, and we should all be grateful for that

As with us signing players or if the unthinkable happened and we had to replace TP then its nothing to do with our style or how we are portrayed in the media. The one and only factor that potential managers or players will be interested in is the money being offered. It really is as simple as that. You need look no further then the amount of players that have signed for Citeh when they had offers from teams in the Champions League, money speaks volumes and is the one and only thing most players and managers think about

Rumour has it that WHU will go for Pulis when Zola leaves. My mate works for SSN and it will be released when Zola resigns! Just for the not so bright, I am not saying this, I am saying that this is what someone has said. Clear?! I thought April 1st was on Thursday? maybe I have missed a couple of days somewhere.

Watch the interview from Saturday on MOTD and Pulis quite clearly has a dig at Sullivan and Gold. Pulis will not go and work for them, though knowing the smug, twattish cunts they'll still try and tap him up.

WHU, will want a manager that will play the WHU way,TP does not fit into that category i'm afraid.

That's the most sensible post on this thread. There'd be uproar from the Villa or the Everton fans if their clubs went in for Pulis. I love the bloke, but those two clubs are looking to progress, not consolidate. They simply wouldn't even think about Pulis. His is an ugly brand of footy, but it's our brand. ;D

He won't go. Anyway, why don't they wait until Citeh sack Mankini then they can have another Italian manager
