Fuck me. What a corker.
Everything about that goal is perfect. Awkward ball to bring down; he brings it down in one touch! Then from a nothing position, turns to beat 3 men. Goal of the month, easily. Shear brilliance Ric, shear brilliance!!!!

And on Match of the Day it'll get put at the back of the queue behind zola's "poor hammers" routine from Lugsy and Lawro.

Shearer: "Top drawer goal, people don't realise just how difficult that is to do"
Hansen: "Atrocious defending, if you're going to commit to the challenge make sure you get a foot on the ball, first thing you learn, stand off and force him onto his left peg"
Lawro: "Agree with both, but it proves Stoke are'nt just a one dimensional long throw team"
Jug Ears (complete with smarmy grin, which in fairness we'd all have if we were nobbing his bint): "Yes, he looks like a player who's FULLER confidence" (but said just sufficiently condescending as to infer I could have done that with ease in my prime)"Now Wolves take on a resurgent Everton... (which we reluctantly put on after Stoke even though it was it a crap bore draw, surely it had to be better than the Potters)

He could have put a bit more effort into his celebration. That's typical of the lazy bastard.

I don't need to watch the summary of the game now.

There are a few goals that I can remember and visualise - Conroy v Arsenal, Greenhoff v Birmingham, Stein v ManU, Fuller first Stoke goal in the Prem and now that one. Class goal, class player. Congratulations Ric - that was something else.

Thanks for posting that thread, what a bostin goal, always plays better when he doesnt start. Titan you speak from Uranus for suggesting Sidibe is crucial to Stokes success.

You speak from uranus saying Fuller plays better when he doesn't start ;D The team always offers nothing going forward when Fuller isn't on the pitch, so when he comes on, you notice him more People saying he's better coming on off the bench are mad, because he's always brought on when we're doing shit and that's because he's not playing in the first place
