If that third goal wasn't offside, then we might as well ditch the rule.

my baggies fan auntie has just rang me taking the piss, i reminded her of our current league position in relation to theirs. Then she said well we are knocking on the door of wembley and you will be there this season in the play offs, so i said well we'll just have to beat you there aswell then. It really got to me to be honest, i fucking hate west brom i really do

Good for them, shame it wasn't a replay though! Never mind a tough semi with extra time and then penalties to get to the final.....that should keep 'em occupied.

Having the fortune/vision to predict and back a 5-1 away win is something I'll never do if I live to be 190 years old. I was just happy to back the away win at evs, having somehow dodged all the other coupon-busting FA cup games this weekend. (Did anybody back Portsmouth, Barnsley or Cardiff to win?)

I didn`t really think it was a silly bet, with them being the league`s leading scorers and scoring 4s and 5s in the championship, but thought it would be 3-1 and covered it with 4-1 and 5-1 just in case rovers heads went down. I had a mad 50p bet roughly about 10 years ago, gillingham v forest on a tues night, when harewood was playing for forest, i had him to score the 1st goal and win 4-1 away from home lol, i was playing darts and couldn`t concerntrate because they had teletext on the tele about 3ft away from the board, i think i got over £100 for that one. sadly can`t forcast them every week ;D I correct myself it was huckerby not harewood, harewood got 2 of them though.

No but I have got West Brazil to lift the cup for £2 @190-1 on Betfair. This rivalry business goes out the window for me... I'm a brazil fan in the cup! Just one of them throwaway bets I forgot about until I checked yesterday ;D

Its good to see at last we can mix our style.Yes we wernt our fluent selves but i suppose the pitch had something to do with that. The scoreline probably flattered us a little but we are on our way again just like in 1931 being the only team ever to win the cup and promotion in the same season. Can history repeat. Its going to be an interesting week. We now have 2 home games Palace and Leicester and would be expecting max points. No game is easy though Fair play to you lot.

Couple of things really: Hate to say it.........but they are a decent side! They have plenty of firepower that obviously know where the goal is! They don't always give the other team a 'few goals' head start! Having said that 'if' we get a striker this week, then hopefully by the end of season we'll be above them.

I genuinely can’t remember anyone saying they were anything other than a very decent side at this level, just a lot of people pointing out that that fact alone does not secure you three points in every game you play and the fact that their idiotic fans and laughable local media consider many other teams not fit to share a pitch with them.
they are well above average for a team in this division but nowhere as good as they think.

Momo, the truth is with the money they've spent, the team they've got and the standard of the rest of us, they should have had this league sewn up by now, a la Reading.
The fact they haven't is the real joke. Where us and Bristol are punching above our weight, they have actually under achieved in terms of this league.
