At least £5 too dear.
Fair play to the club, i'm sure if given the choice this would have been a £5 special.

Fair enough I suppose. I think a crowd of about 12K can be expected.

I wasn't planning to go anyway - but if I had been then I think £15 would have killed my enthusiasm. I hope it was York who insisted on a higher price than the £10 I think it should have been.

£15 and kids for a quid would have been ok.
3 home games on the trot are a bit of a tall order for some especially at Xmas.
gald I got me season ticket and pay by installments, lets see if santa will allow me to go that one.

Interesting that to you Stokies (Stokers? Stokeists?) £15 is viewed as too expensive for this game.. For us - for who £15 is the standard price at Bootham Crescent, and less than at some of our conference competitors such as Cambridge Utd - the price is very good for the chance to go to a premier stadium and see a good cup game. It'll be far more of an interesting game to watch than when you play the likes of Fulham

Anyway, I for one will be there.

We have very few reserves left unless they are all back from loan for Christmas! Decent price for me as we will deffo be trying to win the game - should be good

I suppose the question you have to ask yourself is: Would you be happy paying £15 to watch your Reserves? We've been there - in the 4th Qualifying round (the one before the first round proper) we had Bedworth, who are about the same distance below us, as we are you. Bargain price of a tenner... To be fair though, although we expected a reserve-ish side, it was practically the first team that turned out in the end. Plus, you're looking for a replacement for Mr Beattie I believe? Have a look at our Mr Brodie - good striker, and you'd only need to change a few letters on the back of the shirt

Spose it's only the price of 5 pints, which is what I would be spending my money on if I don't go.

I don't agree with the Stoke posters who say we will play our reserve team. I don't think TP would want this sort of calamity and certainly not in front of his home support! The Stoke posters who say we haven't got a reserve side to play are pretty close to the truth! They are on holiday in Middlesboro', Barnsley, Preston and other locations as beautiful as Hawaii!

its fair enough but for me £15 plus travel and beer is a bit much, plus an extra saturday on the piss away from family so will probably give it a miss
a crowd of 12000 will probably lead to an avalanche of glory hunter threads on here

Sunderland are also charging 15 quid for their home FA Cup tie with Barrow. I think it's reasonable enough to be honest.

Like the League Cup this and last season and the FA Cup last season? It's sandwhiched between the Brum and Fulham games, he'd be daft not to play a reserve team imo. Also the ones out on loan according to Buxton will all be back before the tie. Wether they play or not is a different matter. If they do the team will be imo; Simmo Shotton Huth/Faye/Ryan Higgi Dicko Marshall Whelan Faye Pugh Tuncay Zigic

Anyone know if the club usually do cheaper hospitality packages for this type of fixture? It's my young un's birthday and was thinking of getting a few of the family together for a meal & the match if the price was right.
He mascotted for the Derby cup quarter final last season and that was miles cheaper than normal league games.
I've had a look at the commercial site but can't see anything different flagged up for cup games.

Considering our FA cup record it should be club paying US 15 quid.
