RIP Mark,
love to the family.
I have emailed Tony Scoles this afternoon asking what SCFC will be doing in Honour of this Great Man.
i didnt know Mark personally, yet used to see him in the Golden Lion.

Such terribly sad news. Sounded like a really decent guy. I'm sorry I didn't know him, but from the bits I have learnt from the site he sounded like a special person, he must have been to get in his car and start to drive back to Blackburn to help 2 fellow stokies stranded up there. Rest in peace with Messrs Ritchie, Matthews & Waddington, you will share some wonderful tales together up there in heaven.

This is a message for all who wish to pay respects to Mark.
His funeral will be held at St Mary's church , Church Lane , Knutton , Wednesday 9th December at 11.00am
Please wear what you are comfortable in and Stoke shirts and scarves are welcome/requested.
A service will follow at Bradwell crematorium at 12.30 pm.
All are then invited to the Thistleberry @ Newcastle for drinks at 1.30pm onwards.
Please attend to give Mark the send off he deserves.

I hope the accident was quick and at least your earlier thoughts would have been positive after a good performance from the lads

Just a note to say that on the way back from Burnley today me & Mrs Bob placed a modest bunch of flowers & card at the spot on the hardshoulder, 30 yards North of Charnock Richard Services. This on behalf of ALL Stokies really, but in particulalr Mart's Golden-Lion Bus crew with whom me & the lad have spent many happy awaydays in the last 3 seasons.....
RIP Mark.
