According to his twitter after training 'he has some news for us' could it be he is going on loan?? Maybe with a recall at short notice included?

Pulis has told him to go out on loan " Joules_pennant: The gaffa said I can go out on Loan to get some games! I was as shocked as much as some of you's will and I can promise we have not fell out" Reading between the lines I think it translates as "Fuck off Jermaine" Disappointing but it has been coming for a while

It's been clear for the best part of a year now that he's persona non grata.

Well his last 5 or so performances in a Stoke shirt have been utter gash so sending him out to somewhere to get some game time and back in form is probably a good idea.

It's definitely been coming for a while now, I fully expect he'll be leaving permanently in January. It's such a shame that their off the field issues can't be resolved because he's still comfortably the best winger we have at the club.

Seems odd to me. I know he's not exactly in favour but he's the second best in form winger at the club. As much as I like Walters, he's not a natural RW.
What happens if we pick up a couple of injuries? Presume we'd recall. Can only imagine TP wants to replace him come Januray. If we can bring in a young up and coming winger then I suppose it makes sense.

This is the start of Pennant career ending at Stoke. I doubt we will ever see him in a Stoke shirt again. TP has clearly not forgiven him.

Like someone has said on twitter, pulls is hell bent on filling his team with 'defenders' & not losing games more than going out to win them.

But one things for sure - JP could certainly produce some of the best crosses i've ever seen at the Brit. Superb player when in form.

Is it not possible that Pennant is fourth choice in Tp's mind (he's always been behind Ethers and Walters) and with no cup games until Jan Pulis wants him to get games but wants to keep him around in case of injury?

I'd say shop window. And of course in the first few months of a loan move, Pennant will be in superb form. Shrewd from Pulis.

He could be somebody's Lee Hendrie in the Championship. When he came to us he was clearly stil able to cut it in the Prem but was a cunt off the pitch. Similar story with Jermaine now. He'll do very well for somebody.

to be honest, im gutted because Pennant when fit and on form is one of our best players.
but he's obviously burned his bridges, and when he has had a chance lately hes been dire.
another point we are forgetting, is that pennant doesnt really fit into our current 4-5-1/4-3-3 system.

I don't doubt we'll cash in in Jan if a decent offer comes in, but I also don't doubt that Pennant would be back on the bench getting some game time should we get an injury/ suspension or two.
