Stokies were moaning their bag off over Castle players using the towel constantly last night?.........WHY?
Have you not seen what that jug eared old man playing for us does every 5 minutes. I swear we'll be launching them from our own fucking half soon.
Anyone else getting slightly tired of the artillery barrage being our only outlet?

On this subject, time after time last night, we had a quick break away, resulting in a throw to us... With Ncastle frantically running back to get in position, Delap slowly saunters over to take the towel, wipe it, do his run, by which time, Ncastle are nicely positioned, picking their nails, having a chat as to where they will go after the match, and finally the throw comes in !!!! FFS Delap, get a frigging move on Rant over

Don't mind the opposition using the towel but there was more than one occasion where they would toss the ball between 3 players, then call for the towel and not even wipe the ball with it.

We're hardly in a position to piss and moan about teams wasting time away from home.

If we didn't load the box, the keeper would just rush out and claim every long throw with ease. Or if we dared to jump into him, they would win a free kick.

Thought it was a good tactic from them. They see Stoke waste time doing it so thought they'd rub our noses in it. To hear our supporters booing them for it just emphasised the point. Last night was scary. If we start being shite at home we could be in for a long winter. We need to start gambling away from home and going for wins. I'd rather win 1 out of 4 away from home and lose the others heavily than lose all 4 by the odd goal.

I hope and pray that the FA ban totally the use of the bl**dy towels. I don't blame Castle one bit for their throw in time wasting, we do it all the time, winning or losing. The long throws are OK once in a while but I find them a total embarassment when used time after time. Do we not have any other ideas or options, after five years of them? Our goals for column is embarassing and TP needs to think how he intends to improve it and quickly, because it's going to cost us dear.

Last nights game has laid down a nigh on perfect blueprint for all visiting teams coming to the Brit. Very worrying

If you double up (or triple in some cases) on our wingers that's it. Are fullbacks aren't really fullbacks so no need to worry about them overlapping and our central midfielders don't really cross the halfway line.
Game over.

As opposed to the time when we got a throw-in in a dangerous position and brain dead Whelan picked it up, slung it at Huth and within two passes gave it straight back to Newcastle. Looked like Delap's fault to me. He told Whelan to throw it to Huth who then passed it inside to Rory who waited for the ball to come to him and Ba nipped in and took it off with him ease. Not having a dig at Rory but think it's harsh to blame Whelan in that instance.

I found it ironic that Newcastle played us at our own game. 2-0 up away from home? I didn't blame them at all much as I hated it!

Lets face it... it was one of them nights where everything was just embarrassing. The throw ins, the performance, the crowd, the result, the opposition goalscorer...

i wish the ball-boys would just stuff the towel down their trousers or something every time the opposition wants it.... i hate it when they just give it to them... they should hide it...

Delaps throws used to effective when they came in flat, now they are like a hoof but using arms rather than feet and as such are pretty much useless. Time we stopped bothering, the lethargy of our attacks is becoming a problem and the Delap throw isn't a help

What the same Whelan who had an 80% success pass rate on Monday with twice as many passes compared to your beloved Rory with a 50% success rate? Get your head out of your arse as far as Delap is concerned as you have become a joke with your continued support no matter how he performs

It was a night when everything about us was systematically laid bare and exploited. We were tortured and sliced open.
A proper Halloween horror/slasher show.
Time for a massive rethink from Pulis. And quick.
I saw very little evolution .....

They were taking the piss though with the towel use. Especially the lad at RB. Once he asked for the towel and then didn't even use it.
