Hi,
First, I would like to apologize about my English, hope you'll forgive me.
My name is Meni, and I am Maccabi Tel-Aviv's fan.
I heard about some fears to come to Israel. I just want to say there's nothing to be afraid of (as long as you don't go to Gaza strip or something like that).
Tel-Aviv's nightlife is without a doubt one of the best in Europe! There are plenty of bars and a variety of beers and excellent food! The sun on the beach is always fun. And of course, the girls are beautiful!
I didn't even mention yet the Dead Sea, Jerusalem and Nazareth...
You can always check with the fans of Liverpool, Tottenham, Man United, Rangers and Celtic - which have been in Israel in the last years... and enjoyed.

Welcome! Your English is excellent.
Sadly the distance and cost of getting there means it's going to be out of my reach, but I look forward to hosting Tel Aviv fans in Stoke!

The most important question. Followed by 'whats the local talent like?'

Thought Tel Aviv was in middle east not europe? cant understand why they in Europa league please someone explain? Very simple, israel was playing in Asia untill the 1980's, after that, Arab states decided not to show up to games against israeli teams. Israel was a very dominant country in Asia, our teams from israel won their Champions league cup 3 times, but we had security problems, Enemy countrys against us who werent showing up and more. after that, Fifa decided to put israel in Ocenia, we played for 10 years against New Zealend and Australia, and in the 90's finally we started playing in Europe. Geographically its the most normal place for israeli teams to play, you dont realy expect israeli teams to play in places the crowds will try to KILL them, and more.
