Amazing how this waster just walks into the team though...! After 5 defeats on the trot he has to be dropped along with Whitedick,Collins,Faye before its to late. You need to add Tuncay and Wilson to your list, I'm afraid. Strange Opinions Club President

Walters shouldn't be playing, but to write him off altogether is a tad premature in my opinion. I can still see him playing a role. I'm not writing him off but my opinion is that he shouldn't be even in our thoughts. He should be on th ebench challenging for a place behind three strikers and one right winger. Yeah, those are my thoughts as well.

I haven't seen anything on the wing that makes me believe he is a better option than Delap. Defensively he is very poor out there and doesn't counter that with enough attacking threat.

I like him in the Mama role. He could play a part in our season. He should not be a shoe in for starting though and I don't rate him on the wing (although better than Rory) KJ should play the withdrawn role with Fuller or Tunch up front. I agree but I still think Walters is good there. Higher work rate too. There will be games where Pulis will definitely prefer him.

I suppose it depends on his prostate which I'd have no idea about. I do know he's a well below average footballer though who should only play when we have injuries or suspension.

So in summary-most of us agree that he shouldn't be anywhere near the first eleven ahead of Jones/Tuncay/Fuller/Pennant or even Delap.
I still have a feeling that he'll be in the starting eleven on Tuesday or Saturday.

He was awful from the start. Different does not equal good. You talk crap my friend, oh cresswell has gone now for walters gets the boo boy treatment! Walters was very good when he 1st came , got us 3pts against blackburn, plus a good goal in the cup,+ some favourable performances since, yes he's been below par in last 2/3 matches and prob deserves a spell on the bench but to slag the bloke off like you so called fans are doing is a bloody disgrace!! He was dreadful from the off, as I pointed out on here. I can't help being correct every so often. Can we swap him for Cressers!!! ;D ;D ;D

Pennant out wide every single time. Then behind him should be Tuncay. After that you're left with square pegs yet again

He gave away yesterdays soft panalty and has looked slow and cumbersome when dropping back behind the ball. As has been said, too many players this season look either out of their depth (Walters Whitehead, Collins etc) and too many have the soft underbelly of a complacent Premiership millionaire (Tuncay, Gudjonson, Pennant, Jones) Add to this injuries and age to our stalwarts then we are looking a little beleagured just now We have lost our way, our essence - We need it back and quick

I don't care if he comes good or not, even if he does ... he still won't be good enough to keep Ric or JP out of the team.
The issue is what Tone does next.

I also think that we lack both character and characters - Leaders and players who lead by example
Danny Collins, for example, has the personality of a leaf

Watlers has a nice smart haircut, he even supported a neatly clipped beard recently. He is gradually improving. Some tidy sideboards next week and hes getting there.
But as a footballer he an absolute pile of toss, bag of shit, big ball of wank.

Walters isnt a pile of want crap etc. He is actually a decent champs player which he has proven over a number of years. OK its champ football...but shit that is still a decent level. The manager is a sucker for a hard working trier who plays according to instructions and is no trouble. These are decent attributes and a mirror image of the type of player the manager was. Tried hard gives 100% but is not quite good enough. Its a bit of a mystery why the manager has had such a hard on for Walters for a number of seasons. No prem club were prepared to pay enough to prize him away. In his defence he can play in 2 positions. But as someone said earlier he isn't as good as Lawrence out wide and certainly nowhere nearBeattie or Kistosn upfront. He is within our current squad an asset...but I would have preferred a happy Kitson and Liam Lawrence in place. Got this one wrong TP...accept it and move on instead of trying to justify his decisions about a player which is to the detriment of the team. We have better players....play them ffs!!!!
