Jim, good idea about the mugs - I'll see what I can do. You are right - we only need another £50. 5 more pledges of £10 will do it! stokesaint1 - i couldn't have put it better myself, great call. I will leave explanation below. FCA47, Colourboy, Jen, Stokesaint1, thank you for your generousity. Jen, the shirt is usually auctioned off as is the bike. This year I have managed to get a sponsor for the team's shorts so they will also raise a few quid. Stokesaint1 to read pm's just click the top right hand corner of the site, where it says "stokesaint1 you have x messages, 1 is new." this takes you into the inbox. Click the message subject and hey presto, you can see the pm.

I've already given a tenner when the ride was first announced but as you are very persuasive Rob (and you did refund some postage on my mugs) put me down for a £10 more and PM me when you need the money.

All - Well Done, to quote a Pottermouth phrase "we've done eet" The Power of the Oatcake raises £200 for the Donna Louise Children's Trust. I will pm all of you that haven't paid, but if you could make a donation before Friday 5pm to the just giving link here www.justgiving.com/stokecityfc and let me know via pm that you have done it, with the name you used (if it's not your username) then that's the easiest way. You can also choose to give an extra £2.82 in tax gift aid at no extra cost to you. Give the Oatcake messageboard a mention in the text as well! If you can't pay using this link I will offer some alternatives on the PM. Again - well done to you all and look out for the logo on Rory's top. Rob PS don't stop pledging, even if it's 10p, every penny helps.

Rory and the boys have just finished the first 75 mile leg of the ride through the wind and rain of the Newcastle to Seahouses coastal section of the Longride. I did promise to post some pics of the tops and the messageboard logo so here goes. (apols if some slightly out of focus) If you haven't donated yet and can only afford a couple of quid then please donate on the just giving link and mention the Oatcake! www.justgiving.com/stokecityfc

Shame the club can't print the Britannia on the home and away shirts like that instead of the big horrible plastic thing they put on
