Even if Norwich don't hang on and send us 14th. Either way we are a third of the way through the season and only 3 points from the trap door. It's squeaky bottom time

massive relegation battle. Can't score, same old players playing out of position, favourites never dropped etc etc.
Really worried unless the manager grows a pair.

So we're on target to finish 9 points clear then.

If we lose on Monday il be getting concerned. We should really be looking at getting a point at the very least.

I want to see a demonstration of courage from Pulis on Monday night or he can do one.
I can take being beaten, I can take being well beaten but I can't take cowardice...

I've no idea what the result will be but Pulis doesn't do courage or demonstrations. Whatever the result you can guarantee he'll just try to strangle the game to death and hope to get lucky. Its his only philosophy and tends to come off about twice a season away from home. Doesn't seem to penetrate his brain that it just doesn't pay dividends, our away record is there or there about the worst in the division season after season.

To summarise we have lost only 3 games this year - Man Utd and Chelsea away and away at a team that has also just beaten Man Utd and Arsenal. This , in the usual logic of this message board, means that we are likely to get relegated.
.....and its the manager that needs to 'grow a pair' !!!!!!!!!!!!

Are wins irrelevant now as well as goals? Yes he needs to grow a pair. Its not a new development, he's peddaled scared football his whole managerial career.

But on the flip side Wuzza, we've only won 2 games all season as well. One was against a decent Swansea team and one was barely against a team who haven't won all season. Surely you can understand why people are concerned?

Im as big a pessimist as the next man but there is absolutely nothing to suggest that this season is going to be a disaster. We have done ok so far with a lot of new (improved) players and the natural assumption is that things will only get better as the whole process gells. Patience would be good.

We've got no attacking threat whatsoever, literally none.

That is where the work needs to be done Swansea but with the resources we have available it could come together quite quickly and then we could be in a great place with our solid defence and much improved midfield.

Totally agree that we have nothing going forward. We are struggling for goals and now Pulis is bent on playing only one striker. Is Adam a forward???

Our scoring problem is not about personel or players gelling. We don't score enough goals because our team is horribly unbalanced toward the defensive side of the game, The manager simply will not commit enough bodies to attacking play.

Charlie Adam is my biggest worry - how much are we going to sacrifice to find a spot for him and is his ability worthy of it ? I'm not so sure it is but hopefully will be proved wrong.

It's GOALS !!! The worrying thing is that most of the teams that are below us can score goals - OK they also let more in but the occasional win makes all the differrence and if you can score you always have that chance.
At the moment we concede and that seems the best we can hope for is a draw. if we can find the formula to correct that then we will be OK - we have the players.

I'd say that 90% of teams in the Prem that concede would only get a draw at best

We have to start trying to win games instead of trying to not lose them!
It's a scandal with the squad and money spent we look at 'Every' game on how not to lose it and big up the opposition as world beaters just incase we do lose because of our very cautios approach!!!

Charlie Adam is my biggest worry - how much are we going to sacrifice to find a spot for him and is his ability worthy of it ? I'm not so sure it is but hopefully will be proved wrong. His ability on the ball is what we have been crying out for in the 10 Years of Dulisball but as usual with any talented footballer we have Pulis has to ruin because he does not play them correctly then people like you will say he's not good enough etc etc and then he's shown the door so we can go back to dean whitehead and Rory Decrap because that's all we have ever had under this clown nothing but talentless dross in midfield who contribute just running and falling over the ball!!! Adam in centre mid with Nzonzi and wingers on both wings and Owen or jerome alongside crouch not 60 yards behind ffs will make us play better with balance and score goals which what we are painfuly short of!!!

I really should be the manager. Simple in it playing a right-winger Er right wing and a left-winger Er left wing ffs!!!
The position he gets right is fuckin Begovic!

The squad is very good but as usual players are picked to play unfamiliar roles and we wonder why we don't create or certainly score enough but to everyone in the ground it's so obvious it's pathetic really!
