What an incredible job this guy is doing. Saints have now won SIXTEEN straight home games, stretching back to the end of last season, when their amazing form in the run-in beat off a very strong challenge from Sheff Wed.
Now up in the Champ and they've got 22 points from 30 and are sitting at the top of the table, having already soundly beaten Birmingham, Forest and Leeds.
Thrashed Watford today - can they "do a Norwich" and bump straight up to the Prem?

He's an excellent manager, it's incredible to think that he started out his management journey as Scunthorpe's club Physio who was appointed Caretaker manager. Full credit to him and Southampton.

Pardew shouldn't have tried it on with Jose Fonte's and numerous other players' girlfriends/wives though should he!
He is also doing a rather good job with the Magpies.
Good job i put a tenner on Saints promotion at the start of preseason

Adkins is doing a superb job They mentioned Ricky Lamberts goal scoring record on Soccer Saturday as well earlier, think it was something like 58 goals in 100 games which is some effort! Looking good to do a Norwich at the minute Early days yet but got a bit of momentum going

He's also a grade A cock.
Remember the season we got promoted. He was putting us down at every opportunity cause his Scunny side played better football.

Not bad for a physio! He's doing a splendid job.
Not a Southampton fan, but I'd sooner these come up than the big spenders of West Ham, Leicester and Forest.

That Rickie Lambert will be in the Premier League soon - he's like Kevin Davies but good.

He'll be 30 soon, has been mint in League 1 and now the Championship without doubt. The jury is out as to whether he'll do it in the Prem if Saints get promoted. I can't see him being signed by a Premier League club to be honest.

I can't see him being signed by a Premier League club to be honest. I can. If Southampton don't get promoted, I'll bet my bollocks that one of the 3 promoted teams will buy him. Either that or the Saints will get promoted and he'll already be in the Premier League. Failing that, Pulis will go in for him next summer after he's stated that he's interested in signing "young, British talent".

;D He is one for the future.
Just looking up his stats and he scored 28 in 64 games for Rochdale, 51 in 128 games for Bristol Rovers and 59 in 100 games for the Saints. Good work.

He comes from Liverpool. He can take penalties (he scored 2 today). If only he was of some mysterious mixed race, then he could be our sub for Jonboy Walters!
