I can't even imagine it! Stoke City owned by a billionaire, not just one who doesn't give a hoot about the club either!

Pretty interesting that all the other online gambling sites have had no change or a loss in the same period
Has Permiership/Sky football advertising made the difference?

Well done Mr Coates.
I'm sure Mr Pulis will see this as a good thing also. He has a shopping list which runs from A-Z of players. Starting with Adam and ending with Zamora.

It's all down to Ray Winstone! People are scared to bet with anyone apart from bet365.

Bet365 is everywhere now.
All over the advertising boards at the 4 El Classicos and i've seen them alot in La Liga.
Have to remeber that Bet365 is available in something like 23 languages so they're generating a lot of revenue from outside of the UK.

£687,000 a day he earned last year ...
That's more than a Kyle lightbourne every 24 hours ;D

I gave Sir Peter £25 last night trying to make the Villareal-Porto game a little more interesting - every little helps...
Now, go and sign Scotty Parker !!!

Amazing to think that since the GFC hit in late 2009 he's almost doubled his wealth! I suppose Stoke's value would have also risen considerably over the past 5 years.

To be honest it's not just about wealth, it's about attitude as well. I'll give you an example. Prestons new owner Peter Hemmings is a Billionaire and look whats happened to then. This is why I tip my hat to Mr Coates, since his return he has set the club up on a sound financial basis and was willing to throw cash in to keep us solvent. The only possible way he could recoup his money would be to sell the club to some daft Arab or American with more money that sense. I can't see that happening though. After he's pushing up the daisies who knows what will happen but l lets enjoy the moment for now, we deserve it as the two previous owners of the club, the Icelanders and I can't remember the name of the previous bloke but they didn't have much of any idea did they. All hail Sir Peter!

Fabulous achievement, especially in the current economic climate, and great to think we are owned by Peter. He has done wonders for the club over the last few years and put us in a position most clubs are incredibly envious of.
It shows not only is he a Stokie, but also someone who knows how to run a business and make it very very successful.

To be fair - it's his daughter Denise who's the brainchild behind Bet 365 - online anyway. Well done to them both.
