Shocking decision that is!
Old doll has just called me to ask if I am going the match/to be careful. She says there is lots of trouble going on in Longton - anyone heard anything else?

Then vote with your feet in future and don't give them any more of your money. This is disgusting and you'd be a mug to go back there following this.

As a Potteries exile for over 50 years I don't know what the Power League is . Is it an establishment for partaking of liquid refreshments ?

The police should tell them that the bar is open in the stadium and thats that! They did this with us at Barnsley about 4 years ago, luckily we went up to the sports complex thing as when we got in the ground all the bars were shut and hadn't been open at all. The police doing well in public relations again!

there is lots of trouble going on in Longton - anyone heard anything else? I heard that there's a large contingent of scruffy, violent inbreds who barely speak English skulking around the town looking for fights. Some Cardiff fans are also rumoured to have turned up too.

To be fair to teh Power League they were probably under police instructions The police may have requested this Mark but if your the manager you should be look 20 odd games a season we have regulars in here (Stoke fans) not to mention the hundreds that use this facility for football weekly as-well. Cardiff are here for 1 game and you want me to alienate my regulars for them? I'm sorry if thats the case home fans only!!!

I was in the pwer league but moved on police recommendation. They told me there'd been Cardiff coaches coming into Stoke early, and they were making the pub away only. Waited around for a bit, the Cardiff fans consisted of a load of kids who didn't look old enough to drink, who stood and blocked off the bar and doors.

far from it...a lot of Cardiff fans in there before hand with families, and by all accounts 3 Stoke went in & started verbals/threats to all. Stupidity reigns supreme again.

Why, whenever Stoke go away games, 9 times out of 10 there is an away pub.
Staffs uni is the away pub normally, for those coming of the train, but as staffs police and welsh police advised for most fans to travel by coach then they needed a pub close to where the coach drops them off...in all fairness it would have been better than dropping all the coaches off in Stoke town centre.
I cant see no problem with having one pub away fans and THREE (4 if you include D's) keep fans seperate reduce risk of trouble. Only reason it kicked off in there was because some knuckle dragging Stoke muppets went up there kicking off
